Preponderance of fright

While writing an activity for my students using comparisons of inequality, a baffling question came to mind:

Who is more frightening, Cristina Ricci or Cameron Diaz?

I vote for the latter, since she always looks ready to devour someone's face.

But more importantly, has there ever been a more frightening man on film than Steve Buscemi?

Christopher Walken has them all beat. I love him but come on, he's creepy.

For some reason, I've always really liked Christina Ricci. Strangely compelling, she is. (Are there 2 l's in compelling? compeling. hmm.)

i'm with you, becca, but my students were overwhelmingly opposed to Ms. Ricci...

sadly, only about 1/2 sympathized wtih my face-devouring theory about cameron diaz :(

steve buscemi is one of my heros. if a man that ugly can make it into top-of-the-line films, then i can do whatever i choose if i work hard enough at it.

you can't rule out willem dafoe as one of the top five creepiest actors. not quite as creepy as buscemi and walken, but he's definitely up there.
